Robert Baker, MS, CRC Vocational Case Manager
Mr. Baker earned a Bachelors Degree from Le Moyne College and his Masters Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Syracuse University. He also holds certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification in New York State. He is also a member of IARPPS, the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals in the Private Sector.
Mr. Baker has worked as an insurance vocational rehabilitation counselor in the Upstate New York area for over ten years. He has worked for a local rehabilitation company (Empire Rehabilitation), a national rehabilitation company (Concentra) and has contracted with the New York State Insurance Fund as a Workers Compensation Case Manager/Vocational Consultant. He brings with him the unique blend of having worked as a carrier based rehabilitation coordinator and a rehabilitation provider.
Mr. Baker has also worked in the arena of drug and alcohol counseling and psychiatric care in two Syracuse area hospitals.
In addition to coordinating medical and vocational services, Mr. Baker has performed total industrial disability and vocational assessments. He is experienced in vocational placement, planning, transferable skills analysis, ergonomic evaluation and restructuring. He has also developed and helped implement modified duty programs for many businesses throughout New York State. He has been called as a vocational expert in various arenas.
Mr. Baker is an expert working with individuals receiving no-fault, compensation and long-term disability benefits.

Jane Gilberti, RN, BS, CCM Medical Case Manager
Ms. Gilberti has worked as an insurance case manager in Upstate New York for over seven years. She has worked for a national rehabilitation company (Genex) and for a statewide company (CMC) for the majority of that time. Ms. Gilberti has also worked as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager and nurse at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital for nine years.
She is an excellent medical case manager with tremendous skills in communication with other medical providers and her clients.
Ms. Gilberti graduated with an A.A.S. in nursing from Onondaga Community College. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from LeMoyne College. She is a Certified Case Manager in New York State (CCM). Ms. Gilberti continues to train to maintain her credentials. She is also a current member of NARPPS, the National Association for Rehabilitation Professionals in the Private Sector.
Ms. Gilberti is skilled in medical and vocational services and has experience handling catastrophic medical cases for insurance companies. She is experienced in negotiating medical services and prices, arranging necessary medical care, evaluating for vocational needs and planning case progress.
Ms. Gilberti is an expert in working with individuals receiving no-fault and/or receiving worker’s compensation benefits.

David J. Schuler, CDMS Vocational Case Manager
Mr. Schuler has worked as an insurance vocational rehabilitation counselor in the Upstate New York area for over fourteen years. He has worked for a national rehabilitation company (Concentra) as an executive case manager for the majority of that time. Mr. Schuler has also worked in various social service capacities throughout upstate New York. He is an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a skilled problem solver and has excellent case management skills.
Mr. Schuler graduated from S.U.N.Y. Oswego with a degree in Public Justice and a minor in Social Work. He is presently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Services. Mr. Schuler is a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) and continues with training to maintain this credential.
Mr. Schuler is skilled in coordinating medical and vocational services, and has also performed total industrial disability and vocational assessments. He is experienced in vocational placement, planning, transferable skills analysis, ergonomic evaluation and restructuring. He has also been called as a vocational expert in various arenas.

Frank Bergevin, MS Vocational Case Manager
Mr. Bergevin has worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor in the Northern New York area for over twenty-five years. He has worked for a national rehabilitation company (Concentra), and has worked for Jefferson Rehabilitation Center. He is an excellent case manager who has developed close relationships with physicians and employers in the “North Country” for years.
Mr. Bergevin has also worked in many capacities with various social service agencies in Jefferson County.
Mr. Bergevin graduated from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo with a Master’s degree in Social Sciences. He will become eligible to sit for certification in rehabilitation counseling (CRC) in the future.
